About the Author: R. R. Surbier

 

I’m an author who believes that character development often happens in intimate and intense moments, and that’s one reason my writing tends to skew erotic. When characters fall in love, it only seems right to follow the journey without pulling punches. I want my readers to fully experience the private moments of my characters, especially when writing in a setting where intimacy advances plot. Plus, what healthy adult doesn’t enjoy a good sex scene?

 

My personal life is not my writing, I want to take my readers to intimate places in my books but as a introvert I prefer to keep myself much more private. I want to share my writing with the world, not my mundane info, so my author bio is more about my writing than me.

 

The setting of the Wonder series, a world with hidden descendants of long departed faeries and other magical beings, has been in my imagination most of my life. It wasn’t until I dreamt of an encounter between Rosie and Hatter that the idea for the Wonder series, and the plot of the first book gave me the inspiration to share fey-born with the world. I hope my worlds will inspire my readers imaginations (the place where real magic springs from), and it will replace a little banality with Wonder.
